After the fight, the finger, it seems, it better than the toe

TV Watchdog, Comoff, has come down hard on Harry Hill's show TV Burp.

"Half way through every show," said Comoff chairperson, Charlene Sheen, "Harry Hill picks on two items, say a sandcastle and an igloo, and they have a fight."

Comoff don't have any complaints about a horse fighting a unicorn, or Queen Elizabeth fighting Queen Victoria.

"We're quite happy to see these fights take place," said Sheen. "Some of them are quite funny."

Nor are Comoff upset about Harry Hill seemingly goading the battles.

"Harry's leaning on the desk and shouting 'fight' has sparked a great catchphrase," said Sheen. "I've used it myself. At the right time, in the right way, it can be very funny."

Comoff don't even mind when the actor in a chocolate bar suit gets hurt.

"Accidents happen," said Sheen. "Even to people in foam costumes. That's what insurance is for. In fact, in the right way, two people in a comedy camel suit getting hurt is pure genius. Worth easily two hundred and fifty quid on You've Been Framed."

What has upset the television watchdog is what happens next: Nothing.

"I've watched one hundred and thirty episodes of TV Burp," said Sheen. "I've even found myself watching the repeats in case they're different. They're not. They're the same. They never, ever tell you who won the fight. You're left guessing."

Charlene Sheen intends to ensure that after the programme returns from the advertising break, Hill tells the viewers which foam character won the fight.

"The people have a right to know!" exclaimed Sheen.
