image for Teaching job offers revoked after discovery that Amanda Knox' Italian isn't all that good
Many wonder if Knox would be more employable in a school's tech department after her experience with making license plates.

SEATTLE, Wa.--Several schools in the Northwest have rescinded job offers made to Amanda Knox to teach Italian after an Italian reporter published a story saying that Knox really had no command of the language, even after having spent four years in an Italian prison.

This comes after a comment made by Amanda Knox at a press conference that her family must keep reminding her to speak English to everyone here, not Italian as she's allegedly done since being incarcerated in 2007.

Dino Agretto, a reporter for the newspaper La Gazzetta del Vellio, wrote yesterday, "That Amanda Knox would teach Italian in the U.S., the land of monolingualism, would be fitting: because she speaks it so poorly."

Agretto detailed his reasons for his opinion. "Verb conjugation is as foreign to Amanda Knox as prison life is to us upstanding citizens.

"Her use of tenses is chaotic and her range of vocabulary is really rooted only in prison life. To listen to Ms. Knox speak in Italian, one is left to wonder whether she was, is, will be, or would have been someone's bitch."

Make Lyndon's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
