A surreal concert with Pink Floyd will take place on the dark side of the moon this Halloween. The legendary rock band will play their 1973 album 'Dark Side Of The Moon' in its entirety. It is a free concert--to anyone who can get there.
"The directions to the concert are simple. First you go up, up, up and then down, down, down, down, down. And in the end you go 'round and 'round and 'round' and 'round." said David Gilmour. The Pink Floyd front man says the band has wanted to do this concert for years.
Because there is no air on the moon, the band will bring some oxygen masks with them to help them perform.
"We won't be able to breath, breath in the air. We might turn black, black, black, and blue, blue, blue, blue, blue..." said David.
The dark side of the moon is also very cold--about minus 270 degrees--so the band will bundle up with warm winter coats until the concert is over.
"When I come home cold and tired. It's good to warm my bones beside the fire..." said David.
"I'll see you on the dark side of the moon."
