image for BA & BP Merger
We are proud to link our two Companies

An astounding merger, that will rock the City, has been made between British Airways & British Petroleum.

A joint statement today from the two Chief Executives of these famous Companies declares: 'We are proud to link our two Companies. We shall now be Petroleum Airways'.

In a generous offer, which should settle the BA Cabin Crew dispute, all staff are to be offered cut price holidays in Florida and Alabahma with the additional possibility of extra part time work during the holiday break.

President Obama is reported to be sceptical about the deal but has reserved judgement as plans are being made for a Petroleum Airways aircraft to assist in the blocking of a pipe currently spewing oil into the sea off the American coast.

City analysts are hopeful that this surprising development will bring a much needed boost to the British economy. David Cameron said 'Bringing oil and aircraft together makes a lot of sense. My Deputy Nick Clegg is going to assist with this development in any way he can.'

Make j.w.'s day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
