HOLLYWOOD - The world famous Hollywood sign which was built in 1923, is scheduled to be demolished in order to make room for a brand new Mickey D's Restaurant.
Pablo Chimichanga, co-owner of The Chimichanga Cousins Demolition Company based in La Brea, said that he was the low bidder in the bid to destroy the decaying sign, which has become an eyesore as well as a haven for termites, dung beetles, pill bugs, and Ann Coulter fans.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has started a campaign to raise $51 million to save the sign from the wrecking ball. The governor has said that he is planning on putting on a telethon and hopes to raise the entire amount with some money left over to try and save his friggin state from completely going under.
Schwarzenegger said that if Hollywood loses the Hollywood sign it will be like Tiger Woods losing his gallery of scorecard cuties, Jesse James losing his group of cycle chicks, and Adam Lambert losing his fag fanatics.
Larry King was asked what he thought about the sign. He started to answer but then dosed off. When he awoke, five minutes later he asked if the ball was fair or foul.
King said that he has not been able to get much sleep worrying about the outcome of "CoachGate." He shook his head and stated that he cannot believe that his wife and her coach lover were actually watching him on TV while they were playing 'hide the salami' in his own bed.
He noted that he now knows why his pillowcase had batters box chalk all over it. Larry was asked if he still plans on divorcing his wife. He pondered the question for a moment and then dosed off.
In related breaking news. Larry King's wife's lover's baseball team lost another game due to forfeit because the coach did not show up.
