This is a toy, but isn't mentioned in this article

Representatives of the UK's major retail outlets gather this week for their annual toy fair at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre. It's time to find out what will be the HOT 'must-have' toy to fill your sack this Christmas.

The surprise success of this year's event seems to be good old-fashioned toys of yester-year.

Pogo sticks make a welcome return to the top ten of kids' favourites after years of being up and down in the popularity ratings. Boomerangs are also though to be making a welcome comeback.

Sales of rubber balls are reported to have bounced back and magic tricks have made a re-apperance in this year's top ten.

Meanwhile, sales of novelty plastic dog turds are reported to be shit.

(I bet this would have sounded much funnier if Ronnie Barker had been reading it out...)

(On second thoughts...maybe not)

Make Arthur Pint's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
