image for Yodaphone to take on the big four
Yodaphone makes an iPhone look like this

It was never the intention, but so successful was a recent advert campaign staring Yoda, the diminutive Star Wars character has decided to go into business selling mobile phones with his own operating system that takes on Apple, Google, Microsoft and Blackberry.

"Good at it, I am," said Yoda. "Know what people want, do I."

With a range of products that would make most technophiles drool, Yoda believes he has hit on a winning combination of price and feature rich phones.

"Retarded, the iPhone is," said Yoda. "Lack of features, it has. Feature packed, my Yodaphones are."

With instantaneous texting, millimetre GPS, high definition video calls, a battery life that sees one charge last one year and more apps than Google and Apple combined, the Yodaphones already have people queueing up to buy them. The new range of Yodaphones make the iPhone4 look more old fashion than the Nokia 1.

"I've seen one of the new Yodaphones," said Jules Watt, who runs Mobile Phone Warehouse. "I've got to say that there will be no point owning any other phone. Anything you can do with an iPhone is done quicker, easier and cooler with a Yodaphone."

Yodaphones are expected in the shops in the next few weeks, and the big four are crying foul.

"The big four are bringing in law-suits," said Watt. "I don't know the full details of their beef, but it appears their major concern is that Yoda is using technology from the a galaxy far, far away and a distant future."

"Changing the time stream continuum, am I," said Yoda with a twinkly smile. "No way to compete, have they."

Yodaphones may yet never hit the high street, if Vodaphone successfully execute their brand name infringement suit.
