What time did the man go to the dentist?
Well, his appointment was for 2:30, so, like a good citizen, he turned up with plenty of time to spare at 2:15.
He went to the reception desk and signed in, then took a seat.
He rifled through the magazines, a stack of years out of date Womans Weeklys, and a National Geographic which he'd already read four times, at his past four appointments. Sighing, he picked up the National Geographic and started to read.
2:30 comes by, and goes.
2:45, still no sign.
3:00, the nurse came into the waiting room and called in the person who came five minutes after him.
...
Cutting a long story short, he finally saw his dentist at 3:30, a whole hour after his appointment.
No compensation.
No word of apology.
Nothing.
So in answer to the question, he went at 2:15, but he went home at 3:35.
