It was July
and the ballgame
was on at the bar.
A monkey came in
ordered a beer
and strolled over
to a table
with cute things
all around.
He shot back
to the bar
quick as could be
and said to me
Did you see
that interception?
I told him
as kind as I could
Dummy,
this is baseball.
The monkey said
You're the dummy
I made a pass
at that little lass
and she is leavin
with that other dude.
