A medieval castle was under siege for months by the Saracens when the king heard that there were no more horses to be had in the castle.

"What no horses?!" The King screamed.

"No sire," explained a sage, "the last one was killed in battle today."

"Summon my council we must decide what to do."

During the council the king learned that all that was left was a Great Dane and that Sir Penceworth the realm's smallest knight was willing to ride the dog into battle.

Mounted on the Great Dane and ready for battle Sir Penceworth signaled to open the gate.

"Stop!" Shouted the King. "Stop I say! I can't send a knight out on a dog like this!"
