Then there is the fellow who goes to a doctor for a physical checkup. The nurse begins by asking the basic questions.
"How much do you weigh?" she asks.
The nurse puts him on the scale. It turns out that his weight is 183.
The nurse asks, "Your height?"
"Five feet 11 inches."
The nurse checks and sees that he's only 5 feet 6 ½ inches.
Then she takes his blood pressure. "It's very high," she says.
"Of course it's high," the fellow tells her. "When I came in here, I was tall and wiry. Now, I'm short and dumpy. It's stressful."
