A North Dakota farmer was getting tired of all the out-of-state, amateur hunters that always showed up on the first day of hunting season each year. The main problem is that the fledgling hunters will shoot at anything that moves. For this reason, the farmer had many of his farm animals shot by errant hunters.
So, with the first day of hunting coming fast, the farmer painted the names on each animal in hopes this would deter hunters from shooting them. On his horses he painted HORSE on it and he painted COW, on each of his herd of cattle.
The next morning, the farmer woke to find a big shotgun blast in his John DEERe tractor!
