Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head.
The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

While Congress is howling, the Baby awakes.
The little Lord Jesus, He's hungry tonight.
But Rand Paul crows, and Tea Baggers agree,
"The Little Lord Jesus deserves no freebies!"

Don't fear them Lord Jesus, they know not your way.
(As on your young lambs they cynically prey.)
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care
While Congress dines lavishly with billionaires.
