The Vice President has been acting as White House tour guide to some Chinese exchange students studying US Politics and History of the US Democratic Party.
As a special treat the White House Presidential Portrait Gallery has been opened up and the group is avid to hear their guide's thoughts on the nation's former Presidents.
'This one right here is Harry S Truman,' Biden explains, 'or '33' as we call him, next to his predecessor Franklin D Roosevelt, '32'.
'Then over there are Lyndon B Johnson and Jimmy Carter, respectively '36' and '39' in presidential number terms.
'Unfortunately the portrait for the USA's 44th President Barack Obama won't be unveiled until completion of the President's second term of office - but I can show you two more paintings, that of '42', Bill Clinton and '35', John F Kennedy.
'Anyone got any questions?'
'Plees Mr Vice President,' one of the undergraduates replies, 'what is the difference between '42' and '35'?'
'Well,' Joe Biden says, pausing a moment, 'one had his head blown off.
'And the other was assassinated.'
