Irishman is flying a commercial jet airliner from London to Dublin. As he approaches home, he requests permission to land from the control tower. "Permission denied" comes the response from the airport authorities. The pilot can't believe his ears as its a fine day and there's no wind blowing. "Can you bleedin' well tell me why not?" he demands the control tower. "Well, y'see" replies the air traffic control officer "I've got two hundred pounds on the next race at The Curragh and I want to watch my horse on the telly. I'll give ya permission when its over."
