There's a new twist today in the UK food contamination scandal after bits of old saddle were traced to austerity-strapped doomsday peddling Greeks.

Archaeological samples taken from some crappy Athens ruins have tested positive for traces of Findus lasagna.

'We blame the Four Horsemen of the Acropolis,' a Food Standards Agency sauce commented.
