As she was marking her pupils' latest Social Studies test papers, the teacher was in a quandary about the answer given by Billy, one of the third-graders.

Asked to name the four major directions, he wrote:

1. Listen carefully.
2. Write neatly.
3. Sit up straight.
4. Raise your hand.

She did not know whether to laugh or cry!
