The Oxford English Dictionary has issued the first list of several new definitions.

Airing cupboard - Cupboard used to keep wigs warm.
A Hearing - A tribunal where no one can hear what you say.
Herring - a fish that has an extraordinary auditory ability.
Hair today and gone tomorrow - Cry of someone who is losing their hair and going bald.
Hare-Brained - Mad scientist whose hair is standing on end.
Here here - call of politician seeking another handout for expenses.
A Hare - A very thin animal which constantly falls off your head.
