I got shit faced in shepton mallet, in a dingy little pub, down in a wee dell surrounded by houses that didn't look much but when you went in had all manner of madness and odd lighting, ooh and a optical illusion ladder going up through the ceiling. that's all i remember though, due to being unusually spannered because of the 1 pound a pint thatchers cider they served there.

One of the scripts I have written recently is set in a hospital radio. All hospital radios have a list of songs that you MUST NOT play. So there are running jokes among hospital radio DJs of songs that push this boundry. Like Terry Jacks, Seasons in the Sun, and the like, or Europe - The final countdown. etc and so on.

A friend of mine who is a nurse has a running joke with her colleagues when they have people who are DOA, they mark them down on the form as a time waster. Apparently that just gets funnier when you are dealing with it everyday.

and as for that news about Vodafoney being let off 6 BILLION. thhats right BILLION in tax. fuck em. this government is like a bank who charges you, makes you go overdrawn and then charges you for being overdrawn.
