I had a bit of a shock the other day where money was concerned. I saw Charles Darwin playing the trombone on the back of a ten pound note.

Has anybody else noticed the resemblance between Morrissey and a Davina Deluxe Skipping Rope with precision ball bearings for speed and smoothness of rotation? The similarity is truly uncanny.

I love writing letters. Sometimes if I'm in a really energetic mood I'll write a full word. Oh look, I've just written twenty six of them.

More respect should be given to Sir Patrick Moore, presenter of The Sky At Night. He is an absolute legend and has done more than any other person to raise the profile of astronomy amongst the British general public. So it was with utter disgust and contempt that I witnessed one of the guests on his programme, a young student of astronomy, recently showing complete disrespect for the great man by asking him, "Is there a ring of debris around Uranus?" Sir Patrick is an old man for God's sake and he may have a ring of debris around that particular part of his anatomy but there is no need to bring the subject up, especially on television in front of millions of viewers. Poor Patrick, I felt really sorry for him.
