If we get another cat, I'll call it Fergus. Promise.

Full name: Fergus The Trainee Moderator.

Mind you, I'd feel a bit of a dickhead calling it in of a night for its dinner.

Regards

Skoob.

Middle of the night is a bit late for dinner innit. Cat might already have nipped to the local kebab shop at throwing out time?

'Tis true, Millwall followers rarely travel well, especially places like Leeds, Luton and Cardiff.

Nice link between the topical news event and the footalling 'Forest'.

There's a lot of it about. Last year, a scouse spaniard managed to convince a SW London club that he was worth £50 million. And the spanish banking system is still on the verge of collapsing.

I've heard they are both relocating to Head office in Dorking and as part of their lucrative new contract have unlimited tea and chocolate biscuits during their shift.

This was posted a day before the one he was called out for, but I'm sure there is another reasonable explanation for Scoob's behavior. A 5 for your devotion.

I hadn't noticed the dates on the two stories/forum posts in question. Churned a few stories out over the weekend but didn't use the forums much between Thursday and Sunday.
Spent today wandering around and commenting which was probably not a good idea.

Leave it out Chris. You know I can't handle criticism. (Or Chrisicism.)

I'd be willing to bet Dan takes my remark in the way it was intended.

Best Regards

Skoob.

5 for Dans story and 5 for Skoobs 'Chrisicism' - love it when people create new words.

Re the story - like the additional adverts placed (last paragraph) added a bit to the punchline, which as skoob says was fairly easy to see coming in the headline - in fact a lot of punchlines on this site are easy to see coming from the headline in my opinion.

re skoob comment - I think the reason Skoob commented in this fashion is that Dan put up on of his recent stories for comments/critiquing - but was called out for 'self-promoting' as it's not the norm to do that on the Stories Discussion -its normally another writer praising your story which brings it to the fold - as a fairly new writer Dan may not have realised that but just wanted an opinion on his story.
While i say its not the norm I have seen it done by other writers - even in the last week or so - which may have prompted Dan to have done it?
SO is this the forum only for praising a story, and the writers room the forum for slating or critiquing a story? Can we have some clarification, or others opinion?

Arm - heading for the sound of the bow bells, though only got as far as Ilford thanks to a well meaning but bumbling friend.

Lynton - It's the Inch Factor. I'm a bit young to take over his senior moments column, maybe silly moments!

Ellie - Euro 2012 first! Olympics second!

Skoob - If you cancel your trip to Tulsa you'll get your 24 hours back?

Anyway, made it to airport on time and now back in Britain - is all this rain something to do with the hosepipe ban?

No, this is not a plug for my Diamond Jubilee story, although you can thumb it if you want, but today I turned up at the airport at about 8.45am only to be told my flight was on the 7th of June and not the 6th.

Blame it on the hot weather, blame it on all the bank holidays meaning no one knows what day it is, blame it on the boogie.

Are you going slightly mad too?
