A shaft of late summer sun that lazily probes about the high branches, picks out an oval of scrub. A trace memory, a silhouette that says 'it was.....

I don't like poetry much
Because I don't understand it;
I'm like that, a touch
Of a miserable git.

That's true, Victor, but I was saying that I, myslef, am a bit of a miserable git, because I needed to find a suitable rhyme for 'it' quickly, and 'miserable git' is what came to my tiny mind.

All the best to my fellow acronymists for the festive period.

Do you know what 'poetry' is, that you don't like.

What is 'poetry', eh?

I think this piece of writing is rather wonderful, but I didn't label it as 'poetry'. You did.

Perhaps you know something.

Generally I find that people know nothing.Neither do I.

Or, rather, they don't know nothing.

They really do know nothing.

But they don't know it.

No, I'm not sure that I do, E. When I read the piece, it struck me as being something akin to that which I had previously considered to be 'poetry', but I am prepared to be corrected.

No, I don't think so.

I know nothing. But, to further your claim, I would say that I don't know whether I don't know anything or not.

I just can't be sure.
