Lovely.

A real joy to read Erskine's 'Letters to the Editor'.

Wonderful stuff.

Nice stuff, captures the genre very well. The gibberish thes people speak seems to appear each week in local papers.

Well observed and wonderfully written as ever. I look forward to revisiting this in the DR2 where it will be handily placed just after one of my pieces so that it may be even further enhanced as it luxuriates and basks in the warm glow of reflected glory.

Time was clearly spent writing the piece and that alone is noteworthy and deserving of recognition

I thought Dorking was a verb!

Life cycle of aspartame:
man makes aspartame;man eats aspartame
man dies;man sees that aspartame makes good softkill weapon
man makes more aspartame; population still too high.. repeat

To be absolutely honest and sincerely constructive - I also enjoyed this and thought it was rather good and a pleasant read.

Except something kept nagging away inside me, saying that I'd, more or less, read it before.

I hope that's fair...

But I'm elevating it upwards to the level it's aimed at..
