Inspired from a true Christmas story when I had to rush out to buy a new vacuum cleaner on Christmas Eve.

Received verbal taunts from two ladies in the check out line about my choice of gift, when I had to explain that it was truly because our old appliance had died just before the guests were about to arrive.

They put their weapons away after my explanation and went about their business.
