I tried to make this story "a blast from the past" for the old timers.

You've not only got Bargis, you've also got his characters the Pissgums and Fernando Monte Verde ("the most interesting man in the world"). I also brought back the Buggerall just for fun.

Being raised by an Italian mother on the Mexican border made me realize that entrees are not edible without jalapenos, onions, green chilis, or garlic. Hence, I am the J-man.

Was that before or after you sunk it in Chapter three?

I've started so I'll finish.

"The poor cook he caught the fits
And threw away all my grits
And then he took and he ate up all of my corn."

Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me;
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me, What a long, strange trip it's been.

My mother is suffering from Alzheimer's now and doesn't look at her computer anymore. Things have gotten worst since my father died in March.

Being raised by an Italian mother on the Mexican border made me realize that entrees are not edible without jalapenos, onions, green chilis, or garlic. Hence, I am the J-man.

I think it was easier to have my father die of a sudden heart attack in the middle of the night than it will be to see my mother waste away and become dependent upon people and lose her memory and abilities.
