I'm looking forward to getting back in the loop. It's been a busy week for me and haven't been able to do any Spoof writing (except last night, my first story in six days).

Took J-man's advice (new writer's discussion) and did a "timely" piece on the Presiden't State of the Nation Address and Romania's sale of Bram's (Dracula's castle). Thanks J-man for posting (spoofwriting advice column).

Check it out under World News--"resident Reveals Operation 'Middle Ages'; Trades White House For Transylavanian Castle." Turned out pretty well.

Have been keeping up with the Discussions, however. Schooner, did you get my "review" of your pieces? Judging by all the fork-n-gum pieces, J-man apparently did.

I've got an idea, J-man, and will submit an article this weekend on that image. It's a long weekend for me, here, being an employee of the public school system in North Carolina.

I was going to do a similar piece myself on the Dracula castle, but was beaten to the punch. I guess you were quicker to the keyboard.

J-man, is there any way to do a follow-up to mine? Maybe something about what happens after the President takes over Dracula's Castle. How does he decorate, or a story inside the castle walls. Maybe something Dickensonian. I don't know.
