Gene Kelly was Singin' in the Rain with Debbie Reynolds
(I agree, one of my favorite dancers ever. He and Fred Astaire made it look so effortless. The movie I named and Brigadoon are two of my favorites.) |

| Being raised by an Italian mother on the Mexican border made me realize that entrees are not edible without jalapenos, onions, green chilis, or garlic. Hence, I am the J-man. | |||

Okay, a full day and no response, so I'll have another crack at it. If Debbie was too obscure, I think everyone has heard of the next guy:
Debbie Reynolds.....How the West was Won.....John Wayne (He played General William Tecumseh Sherman in this really, really magnificent movie with a great score and fantastic cinematography) |

(The spelling is Akroyd)
Dan Akroyd > Ghostbusters > Sigourney Weaver (Weaver - She kicked Alien butt, then became one) |

First time I've ever played this game without shots of vodka and the threat of extreme violence being involved (ah, family christmases!) but, oh well, let's give it a go.
Sigourney Weaver - Galaxy Quest - Alan Rickman Aren't we supposed to be getting to casino royale though? Isn't that point? I think I can do it in two more links, if that's any help. |

Okay, I will not bite on the obvious Alan Rickman movie as the next person after me could hit and win, so....
Alan Rickman....Die Hard....Bruce Willis |

Bruce Willis > Pulp Fiction > Uma Thurman
(To end it with two more links? I don't think so) |

Uma Thurman....Dangerous Liaisons....Glenn Close
One of the greatest films of the 80's, even if it did have Keanu Reeves (pre Bill and Ted) in a small roll. The final scene where Close is taking off her make-up and peeling away her facade of emotions in front of her mirror was the best acting I had seen for many years. She got beat out for the Oscar by Jodie Foster, who layed on top of a pinball machine and screamed "rape." The connection that I thought of that would have taken it home had Rickman starring with someone in a movie who was in another film with Judy Dench, who played M in Casino. Yep, it was only two moves, but I'm not giving up my connection and not leaving it open for someone else to win. |

Hmm, hadn't thought of that. I was gonna go via Harry Potter and Michael Gambon to layer cake with Daniel Craig. This one's quite a bugger actually cos there's hardly anyone famous in Casino Royale.
Okay Glen Close - Fatal Attraction - Michael Douglas |

Okay, I'll make this wide open. It's been 24 hours since I posted Alec Baldwin. So:
Alec Baldwin...The Hunt For Red October...Sean Connery (Yep, we're now in the early and best Bond, but how do you connect him to the worst Bond movie?) |

Since the Leroy the Lion Game went down the tubes\
(thx for kill'n him off Mr Peno) How the .. How is THIS game won? Do you all play til everybody but one gets tired and quits? Seems like a game for Google experts and smart folks, not a president. Off the TOP of my head, no Googling allowed I've not the heck what movie Alec Baldwin played in or even who the Heck Alec Baldwin is. |

Aw dude you totally could have won the game right there with Sean Connery
Alec Baldwin was in The Shadow, a movie with a better soundtrack than script, a lot like The Saint, which was outdone by its soundtrack. If not the title surely you remember Penelope Ann Miller's very gutteral and manly-sounding " pick one!" which came out like ' puuuuuck wuuuun!" at the end. |

No, you cannot go directly from Connery to Casino Royale. Sean Connery was not directly connected with any of the actors in that movie. You could, in a few steps, go from Sean Connery ....Diamonds Are Forever...Desmond Llewelyn (he played "Q"
....Goldeneye.... Judi Dench....Casino Royale. That, however, is multiple steps. |

Darn! I read Mark's original instructions which were ..
to reach Casino Royale You're right Willis, I screwed up again. I don't know much about flix but I do know my bond movies. Looks like a call from the judges on this one though .. if the game is over or not. |

Yeah, looks like Willis won that one - Well done! You must be an absolute film buff.
I hardly know the names of most of the big players in movies - bit of a silly move me starting this game really ![]() So, does someone want to start another game? Make it anything you like. |

I win!! I win!!!
I'm not gloating, incidentally - a good lesson for everyone is to never question the extent of worthless trivia memorized by the obsessed. I'm glad it was called for me though, I was wondering if cameos counted in the game. I suggest a new game start with Casino Royale and end up at the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder - stoner flick extraordinaire |
