The thing with this is that it became obvious that some of us weren't welcome here.

Sensible suggestions prompted some pretty furious responses, and quite frankly it all got a bit wearing. So a bunch of us did what you wanted us to do - go away and leave you alone to do your Acronym stuff and the pandering for points thing.

We're all still around, but we're doing some things individually and other things as a collective. Given your rather untimely personal attack upon myself of a few months ago, can you really blame me? Or others who endured personal attacks?

Sure, we asked questions, and for sure we tried to change the focus of this site, tried to make it something special, but all of that was vehemently rejected in favour of the old ways and of how things used to be.

Don't for God's sake ever complain to me that there's no discussion or repartee going on here - it's what you wanted.

As an alternative option - maybe you could sign up to that 'other' site. You'll probably fit right in there.
