What have instruments of feline grooming to do with the disused underground quarries of Paris? If you mean the latter then you should be interested to know that they are no longer the dead centre of Paris. I can recommend a tour of the drains; an attraction running with interesting matter. Be warned though, the queues are long and there are no public conveniences.

Parky got a tug from the frog police as he was emerging from a tunnel. They told him it was illegal for people to venture into the catacombs. He pleaded ignorance and "No speaka der fronsay messure". The old bill took him to the city centre and told him to "Va te faire foutre, trouduc" He said "Tres Bon" and off he went.
