I love Spanish footy, but I also felt sorry for our Irish bretheren (especially Fergus after that fucking Henry hand job). But such quality is too much for any team and the Spanish, hopefully, will win the thing hands down!

That will be fantastic news!

The Irish fans were majestic, brilliant (shame about their team) and I had goose bumps, really super news!

Good news: Rooney is back! Bad news: There's still 90 minutes of footy to play in the Lions Den and then, if successful, Spain!

It's good news that was nearly bad news; My son Dylan returned home after going AWOL last night. I cannot begin to explain the feeling of fear wrenching at my brains and body; luckily his phone conked out and he was at a friends, phew!

Haven't these parents of friends got normal telephones anymore? Jesus!

JO - Glad your son made it home. I'm going to be a complete wreck when my daughter is old enough to go to friends and drive places. Maybe by that time, we'll all just communicate telepathically.

Ellie

Oh. They've encased him in Carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.

Thanks Ellie; it was the worst night of our lives. I lost my brother through illness, my mum thorugh old-age, but the thought of losing my youngest son was absolutely intolerable.

The worst nightmare that responsible parents can ever experience. Believe me, after that night, I will never, ever underestimate the anguish that parents go through who actually do lose their children, terrible! No words can describe the terror that these poor people go through.

Thank who ever that Dylan returned safely, but believe me, he's being severely punished for his irresponsible act. House arrest, no friends, no girlfriends and work!

Cheers Ellie, bless you!

Good news for UK based fans of 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.'

No longer will we only get the global edition of the show.

As of July 23rd we will get the show every weeknight on the Comedy Central X channel.

Much good news from Nottingham!
I've not been overcharged at Lidl on my last three visits! - Unbelievable!

I've only fell asleep and missed one mornings medications this week up to now! - Great!

The woman I've fell in love with, Margaret, has not told me to go away yet! - Amazing!

The Launderette has now installed two new machines - that work!

I've found my pack of hearing-aid batteries I lost last month - Why I didn't look in tinned food cupboard in the first place I don't know!

Gosh, my life is so exciting!

Hello hello hello Jo,

I think it's the carefully nurtured and developed nepotism amongst the 'Have's' that is to blame, along with the ease and unaccountability they have been granted?

It's raining where I am....Sad thing is, I had to leave the country in order to see actual rain. But it's nice.

I can't stand Lorraine, against my window, bringing back sweet memories. Or was it 'the rain'. I liked Lorraine, she was nice.

GOOD NEWS - The landlord has fixed the toilet seat! No more 'wiggle it, just a little bit'
Quite off-putting.

BTW, I thought Federer was imperial and Murray got taught a lesson in high-class tennis.

So for me that is good news and stuff the Brit factor!

Maybe next year when Fed, Nadal and Djocko all fall over and die!

Murray is just not good enough, not yet!

But, I do hope he wins it one day.
