I respect every writer here, even you CJ. In fact I read your superb piece on another thread and couldn't give it anything but a mega 5.

I have no wish for anybody to leave here, although it seems that you have caused EQ to go underground for a while, but that's his decision, not mine.

As for defending your friend about his constant snide comments about other writers grammar and spelling imperfections, sorry, that is also way below the belt IMHO.

Why is pointing out grammar/spelling errors acting like a Nazi? If anything the Nazis were anti-intellectual...

Because Ellis you beautifus person it was meant to read that way, INEPTITUDE! The joke, the whole thing being a joke, a laugh, a dig at ourselves. Would you stop a comiedian half way through a joke if their grammar was not up to scratch? And by the way, some of us are dyslexic, and try as we might, some words do come out wrong. Insults are best kept for those that deserve them.
