Stay safe over there. That sure looks like one mother of a storm
headed your way.

Just been having a look at the satellite pics.

You guys over there, be safe. Don't venture out.

I know one or two of you at least could be in the firing line.

Hope it all goes well for you.

Skoob.

That does look very bad. But, at least it's a Cat 1 and not a 3. Times like these makes me glad I don't live on the coast. Be careful if you live on the East coast.

Oh. They've encased him in Carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.

Hi Guys:

Thanks for the kind words.

We are getting ready here in Maryland to greet Irene.

I wonder how Morse is making out in South Carolina.

We had the earthquake in Washington DC on Tuesday. Expect to see a meteorite by next Wednesday!

I think Morse is safe in Alaska fishing, left before the earthquake and storm broke.

Irene has been downgraded - tropical storm still not nice but perhaps a few more roofs will be intact then otherwise.

Yeah, I know. I over-thought it and I crashed and burned for all to see.

I hope the worst has past, though it seems to have cleared immigration and is taking out windows in Montreal.

Missed it by a hair...only 35 MPH winds...
Friend in Vermont got hit, house ok but can't get home to his other home on NJ shore as his area in Vermontflooded out.

NH up around N. Conway where we used to live a mess...Saco River ran wild wiped out 20 homes where we used to have a rental, and Rt. 302 up in Glen wiped out leading to Pinkham Notch...kids couldn't get to school...

Only danger, in hind sight was the fatties rushing to the buffet table on board..you really couldn't make it up...

PS: the bears, moose, Dall Sheep, eagles, whales & salmon were awesome...

we were one of the 7% that actually got to see Mt. McKinley on perfectly clear weather the ENTIRE trip...even in Seattle...

Looks like this is the year for Hurricanes, tracking 2 more as we speak.
