The most successful thread ever.

But sometimes it can get confusing, because people post previous entries as quotes, and people pick the wrong word.

There shouldn't be any need to quote previous entries. It just confuses things.

On the rare occasions I play, I look at the last entry, and then post a full stop. (Period for our US friends)

Then I edit the message with the new entry.

That way, it doesn't lose the momentum, and it helps avoid double posting on the same word.

Just sayin'

Skoob

For what my opinion is worth with the 'big guns' I totally agree.

Quotes confuse me. Why do people use 'quotes'?

It's because they need training in how to use internet fora.

If you see someone who's quoting too much, tell 'em off.

It's a waste of time playing that game these days.

They just make up their own rules as they go along.

I always thought it was a crap game anyway.

Regards

Skoob.

Monkey Woods ought to get on that thread and sort you people out.

Some of us like it. It's not everyone's cup of tea and no-one is forced to play.

So what's the problem?

There are plenty of other places you can post on the Discussion Forums.

I like the 'game' coz it doesn't end up in 'fights' USUALLY LOL

It should stay for those who enjoy it.

Those who don't.....stay away from it.

Simple as that eh?

It is the thread with the MOST FUN!

I agree.

Some people should just leave it alone if they can't stick to the rules.

Otherwise it gets messy.

Skoob.

Hey LG!

Like the new avatar. Looks like you've a big gun there yerself.

I have to say that as a statement it's very interesting. She's kinda like a twisted New Feminist, that is the picture of course and not yourself.

Maybe she's had enough, and now she's out to slaughter the old style sexists who just won't respect women on equal terms.

The creator of her own doom........

what are the rules? Last word of the phrase is picked up by the next taker that's the only one I know. My own rule where possible is to make a phrase that is related somehow to the meaning of the word. Others don't do this and some use it as a chance to write the tits and bum stuff.

Annoying innit?

That's why it's not worth the trouble any more.

Just follow on...

But no.

Put 67 frigging quotes in there - get the bloody letters wrong. Go back 16 entries then start again.

My first post in this thread makes it foolproof.

You can't double post with someone else - there's no confusion, and it's as easy as 1,2,3

But no.

Let's do the wrong letters, do the wrong words, put seven pages of quoted entries in, and then bastardise the language with made up words, or idiotic Latin scientific 67 letter words.

Thread's lost its MOJO.

Like the rest of the forum.

Monkey Woods and Jesus Budda would be turning in their graves if they were dead.

Shocking state of affairs.

Ranting Skoob, I agree with you on most things there, but if we all resign to the fact that some of our excellent colleagues have vanished, then the thing will die and I don't want that to happen.

I desperately want MW, JB, Earl, Bureau, JP, Madame Bitters, our Queen, etc, back, but they don't seem to want to come back.

Maybe Mark should try his damndest to get them back?
