Quite so Erskin - the great British Public started out one year ago with hopes to be dashed sooner than reaised.

Back to DSK - now bailed but under what amounts to house arrest. Bernie Madoff didn't get that treatment. 90% of trials in NY the accused is given bail and allowed on the streets. He has to have a body guard that he must pay for himself.Where woud the man go? He gave them his passport. So far the special treatment he has received indicates some manipullation from some very highly placed people.

Who? You name it Coalition of Western Bankers, The French President and his cronies, the IMF itself or even the US. Even all of them.


Strange though that in an interview with La Liberation only a matter of 2 weeks or so back he told the Jounalist he expected his enemies to try something since he was standing for the presidency and it would be done either due to his relationship with money (he's rich) his relationship with women or the fact he is Jewish.

Well that was prophetic. He may be many things DSK, but I have never counted hubristic among them. He's going to need a lot of help to get out of this one if he did it or even if he didn't. So far I haven't seen justice in action or the idea that one is innocent until proven guilty.

Why are the French shocked to the core? He is a serial womaniser but the question of rapist would never have crossed their minds.

Over here there is not one jot of evidence that anybody has not been affected by this even those of different political persuasions.

There's something about the whole thing which doesn't quite sit right.

I'm no conspiracy theorist (most conspiracy theories are stupid anyway) but it does seem a bit odd, that all of a sudden, this guy is some kind of demonic rapist.

Have these allegations surfaced prior to the current situation?

Probably best to respond privately, but I really am intrigued.
