Two words: HOLY FUCK.

"Sometimes the best intentions end up intense without means to quell it.
We've poisoned our blood streams and blackened our lungs. We've enabled the edifice that it's how we belong.
We may suffer together, but we all die alone.
We may suffer together, but we all die alone.
We may suffer together, but we all die alone.
We may suffer together, but we all die alone."

I wonder who will take his place.
I wonder if anyone actually can, as effectively.
I sincerely hope not.

I also hope the repercussions won't be too severe.
I would hope for no repercussions, but that would be like hoping for Bristol Rovers to not be relegated this season (they would have to win about 18-0 and hope other teams lose or draw next weekend for this to happen).............

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts,
And I looked and behold: a pale horse.
And his name, that sat on him, was Death.
And Hell followed with him........

'Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.

Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know
The Wicked Witch is dead!

Being raised by an Italian mother on the Mexican border made me realize that entrees are not edible without jalapenos, onions, green chilis, or garlic. Hence, I am the J-man.

He may be dead, but if you cut off the head, the body can still move.

I wouldn't be suprised if a major city gets attacked tommorow.

Taking all bets! Taking all bets!

1-5000 on Birmingham, England
1-500 on Los Angeles
1-900 on Washington DC
1-2 on London
2-3 on New York

Yeah, but not very effectively. It's all just involuntary stuff, I believe. It can flap about a bit, but there is no train of thought. Reactions, non-deliberate, random 'fits and starts' that are totally unpredictable and are a signal that the brain is closing down.

Perhaps it'll be Dudley.

A lot of Dudley needs pulling down anyway, so it would probably fit right in with the Metropolitan Borough Council's plans, and would save an enormous amount of the budget.

I'll have 100 Baht on Dudley.

It'll be Bear Wallow for sure. They've been looking through the mountains for Osama for ten years, night and day. Only managed to get those four on the rafting trip.

Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me;
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me, What a long, strange trip it's been.

I guess so... but someone will try to screw a new one on or... okay, metaphorgotten there.

Really, in my honest opinion, I would really like it to be Wolverhampton (because they're to Birmingham what New Jersey is to New York) or London (because they're self-centred, resource-stealing, pretentious).

But Dudley Metropolitian Borough... nope. Nothing is worse than Wolverhampton.

You know what does seem rather surreal? The immediacy. There was no build up to this moment. It was effectively silence and then, "Bin-Laden has been killed".

I know its all secrecy and everything... but it feels out of place. Why was he shot? Surely it would be more in our interests to capture him, and then interrogate him. And the body... nobody has released pictures. In all, how do we know it's really him?

I'm not trying to stoke up conspiracy. If they've really knocked off OBL, then thats a great thing.

However, we haven't taken out the entire thing. I think we should start with the backroom people. If we chip at the bottom rungs, then we may start to tear the whole ladder down.

According to what I read this morning on CNN...the US told no one. I could almost picture Obama sitting around not really caring about the wedding he wasn't invited to because he knew what was about to happen.

That being said, I hope there isn't any sort of retaliation that is severe. I hope there is none, but if there has to be I hope it's learned of before it's to happen and stopped so people can just stop dying for stupid causes.

The world we live in is sometimes so messed up. I've found it hard to joke about anything lately...

Oh. They've encased him in Carbonite. He should be quite well protected. If he survived the freezing process, that is.
