A French farmer has been given a one-month suspended jail sentence and fined 500 euros for feeding his ducks marijuana to rid them of worms.

Police arrested Michel Rouyer after they discovered 12 cannabis plants and about 5kg (11lb) of the drug during a visit to his home after a theft.

I'm not saying I believe the guy, but this seems at least plausible.

In my window garden this summer, I faced an insect infestation that affected everything but my weed. Maybe they didn't like the odor?

I prefer natural and dietary ways of countering disease, but as a non-expert in the rearing of mallards, I would probably still recommend adding fresh garlic to their diet!

If he baked the weed to release the THC, he would no doubt be dealing with some very relaxed ducks indeed.
