I think the word FUCK is an interesting word, but have no idea how long its been around or why it was chosen! Anyone have a clue?

I think it's from those Norsey languages.

I've heard two different versions:

1. It is short for" For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

2. It is actually from a Farsi word " phuque" (pronounced Fuck You) that translates to sexual intercourse.

No idea if either version is accurate.

No fuckin clue. Maybe it came from one of our cromagnon ancestors who saw his wife and another stone dweller going at it and he whipped out a club and smashed the rival over the head as he grunted "FUCK".

Common error to attribute "fuck" to Germanic origins.
However, earliest literary / written recorded mention of the word is in the 4th century BCE Jewish Torah / Aramaic version referencing Samson's conflicts with the Philistines.
To quote / English translation :
"...and Samson was loud in his condemnation of the worshippers of Dogon and beseeched them to fuck off and to fuck with him no longer, to go forth and fuck their mothers.
And the Philistines rose up against Samson for his foul rebuke and fell upon him in a multitude, but Samson took up the jawbone of an ass and slaughtered them in great numbers until they were totally fucked."
Really! It's true, go check it out at your local synagogue -in the original Aramaic.
