Given that the points system on theSpoof tends to encourage idiots like Mr Eatsbutt to sit up all night churning out monstrous drivel, just to elevate his position in the points table, wouldn't it be better if points were done away with altogether?

If you want point scoring stories, then write drivel that appeals to the 'Merican's.

Tom, I haven't read more than a couple of your articles. There really didn't seem much point after your 'Dysfunctional family...' piece caught my eye. It was unimaginative and excrutiatingly dull, both attributes which I imagine could equally apply to your good self.

It's probably best for you to stick to your ten second puppet shows for dim kids in future. I suspect that's where your true talent lies.

Hmmm.... nice try Greg. But I think you know all about secret identities. Your make-believe difficulties with the English language fools no-one (well,... it would fool Eatsbutt obviously, but that's just because he's a simpleton).

Here's a tip. Remember that it's the tenses that foreigners have so much trouble with. So stick to the present tense exclusively. It will sound stilted and clumsy, and above all... 'foreign', which is clearly the effect your are trying to achieve.
