I'm going to take this as some sort of Texan/Mexican Slang - because from where I'm sitting (in England) those two statements make no sense whatsoever...! now that's a challenge - to write a spoof story using as many local idiomatic, slang and colloquial phrases as possible, so much so that nobody knows what your talking about. personally, i think BTW might also stand for 'Born This Way'... |

Speaking of cheese, John Cleese, whose family reportedly descended from cheese makers, changed the family name from "Cheese" to "Cleese" to avoid an 1850 rodent scare in England.
A funny story I heard about Cleese was that he was thrown out of boarding school for a prank on a famous statue at the school. The report said that he stepped in paint and walked from the statue to the nearest bathroom making it look like the statue had gotten up to go to the bathroom. |

In my part of the world, a "Tally Whacker" is another name for a pocket rocket/trouser snake/johnson/weiner/peter/peepee (you get the idea?). ...and as far as your idea about stories full of local phrases, well "that dog don't bark." If I put all my huevos into penning that, I'd feel like I'd been rode hard and put away wet. Some of your other ideas might be fine as frog hair, but that one is about as much fun as getting hit in the face with a wet squirrel. |

actually I quite enjoyed that J-man, particularly the bit about as fine as frog hair, so I think its a goer based o your reply. Except we wouldnt understand a word of each others stories that is.
