Maxwell brightened.

"Anyway when will we reach blighty?" I asked.

"Well probably two days - I have to go home to Plymouth to see Hilda and then take a load of coal to Newcastle."

"have you ever seen the Hoe?" he added

"NO"

"When I see the Hoe, I really feel I'm home!"

The actual sea was a real mess; there were plastic bottles, supermarket trollies,, rusting bicycles and used condoms everywehere. All of a sudden the ship appeared to sail ino a huge slick of black sticky, crude oil...
