Email this diary Print this diary Monday, 7 May 2012 The Lib-Dems have never been hugely well supported in Scotland - so I suppose politics is about choosing your battles. In an Edinburgh local council election, while the SNP candidate won the seat, Lib-Dem candidate Stuart Bridges received just 370 votes - less than a man dressed as a penguin who got 444 votes. That kind of sums up our horrendous local election results!
