Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
A kind of strange thing happenstanced me of the current day - I was walking (brillig in the slithy tove) when I came across a beautiful shiny ring of purest Au. Thinking to myself (an arduous task since it is so full of brilliance) I decided that what would be best done, would be to take the aforementioned golden ring and wear it about myself, specifically upon the proximal phalange of my right-hand index finger - that being the best fitting of the rest of the fingers.
Lo (and, indeed, behold), I did disappear! Totally and absolutely. I had, naturally, no direct way of ascertaining said fact, yet I was determined that the veracity be nonetheless so. Here's a poem that I wrote about the incident:
I was in ringlebound heaven,
thinking next to wooden shrubs
I glanced my watch...
